The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers: " (i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties no. 2 to 4 to get released part of land Gata No. 61 area 0.6070, Gata No. 73 area 0.0280 Hectare, Gata No. 74 area 0.0200 Hectare and Gata No. 75 area 0.5350 situated at Village-Sonhati, Pargana and Tehsil- Tulsipur, District-Balrampur from the illegal and forcible possession of the opposite party no.4 and hand over the possession of the same to the petitioner forthwith, in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 19.2.2025 made under "The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act 2007 contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition by passing a speaking and reasoned order within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice." 3. Considering the fact that the petitioner has already moved an application before the Authority under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act 2007, it is provided that the same shall be decided strictly in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not given any opinion with regard to the maintainability of the application. 4. The petition is disposed of in terms of the above.
