The petitioner seeks quashing of the Circular dated 05.01.2017, a copy of which is Annexure-2 to the petition, which provides that the services of those Technical Assistants who are working beyond the age of 62 years, their services should be dispensed with. Further prayer is for mandamus to interpret the aforesaid Circular. Admittedly, as per the Government Order dated 19.01.2010, maximum age limit of Technical Assistant has been fixed as 62 years. The petitioner is sought to be retired on attaining the age of 62 years as emerges from perusal of the notice dated 07.02.2025, a copy of which is Annexure-4 to the petition. Considering the aforesaid more particularly the Government Order dated 19.01.2010, which fixes the maximum limit to be 62 years for Technical Assistant consequently impugned Circular dated 05.01.2017, which requires of those Technical Assistant not to be retained beyond 62 years, does not require any interference.
