By means of this petition filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, the petitioner wants expeditious disposal of pending rent case no.2118 of 2023 instituted under Section 21(2) of U.P. Urban Premises Tenancy Act, 2021 before the Rent Authority namely, District Magistrate (Judicial), Meerut Division, Meerut. 3. It transpires from the ordersheet that after the court directed for ex parte proceeding closing the opportunity of the tenant-respondent on 17.08.2023, a miscellaneous recall application has come to be filed on 27.10.2023 upon which objection has also been filed and the case is proceeding for disposal of the said recall application. 4. In the given facts and circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the rent authority to dispose of the pending recall application within a period of one month of presentation of certified copy of this order and after the recall application is decided the authority shall proceed to decide the case finally within 90 days as statutorily prescribed under the said Act.
