2. This is the 2nd anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Barpeta Road P.S. Case No. 131/2024.
3. On 25.02.2025, the bail application of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the case diary reveals sufficient incriminating materials against the petitioner.
4. Mr. Choudhury has submitted that several months have already elapsed and therefore, there may not be any necessity to keep the petitioner behind the bar for the alleged offence.
5. Mr. Sarma has objected to this anticipatory bail application and police is searching the petitioner but he is not found in different addresses.
6. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides.
7. The second bail application is not therefore a new ground for granting bail, if the earlier bail application is rejected by this Court.
8. The second new ground has not been shown by the petitioner in the present bail application. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioner is dismissed and disposed of accordingly.
