Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions in the matter and place the same before this Court, which are taken on record. By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief: "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authority to grant benefit of third Assured Career Progression (A.C.P.) and to pay arrears to the petitioner. " Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has already approached the authority concerned by filing representation dated 12.09.2024. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event direction is issued to the competent authority, respondent no. 3 if direction is issued for disposal of representation of the petitioner, in a time bound period. In view of aforesaid, this petition stands disposed of with direction to respondent no. 3 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 12.09.2024 regarding grant benefit of third assured career progression, within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
