By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- "For the facts and circumstances stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the summoning order dated: 15.03.2024, same is contained as Annexure No.-1, passed Chief Judicial Magistrate, Lucknow in complaint case No.-29054/2024 under section 323, 504, 354 I.P.C. thereby applicant summoned aforesaid sections. During the pendency of present petition, the proceedings of criminal case No.-29054 of 2024, (State Versus Krishna Kumar), pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, District Lucknow, may be stayed." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a senior citizen of 68 years old. He is suffering from multiple age-related illnesses. He is an accused in the aforementioned case and has been enlarged on bail. He is cooperating in disposal of the complaint case and is appearing on each and every date, however, the complaint case pending since 2017 has yet to be decided. On due consideration to the submissions advanced as well as perusal of the record, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned court below to expedite the proceedings of the complaint case and make every endeavour to conclude it within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
