Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, that the petitioner has preferred an appeal under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959 against the order of District Magistrate dated 18.04.2024. He further submits that the appeal has not been decided till date. 3. Learned State counsel on instructions would submit that if the appeal is still pending the same shall be considered in accordance with law within a stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the memo of appeal. 5. Perusal of memo of appeal shows that the appeal is pending since 29.04.2024. 6. Considering the same, it is directed that the Commissioner, Ambikapur, District- Surguja (Respondent No. 2) shall decide the appeal of the petitioner pending before him within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law. 7.
