Issue suitable order or directions to the respondent No.1 to decide the revision preferred under Section 11(2) of the U.P. Excise Act "Subhash Singh and another Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others" as expeditiously as possible subject to certain time limit as fixed by the Hon'ble Court. (II) Issue any suitable writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case. Heard Ms. Abhilasha Tomar, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. Ganesh Kandpal, learned Deputy Advocate General for the respondent no.1 and Mr. Shobhit Saharia, learned counsel for the respondent no.2. 3. Ms. Abhilasha Tomar, Advocate, has submitted that the Revision preferred under Section 11 (2) of the U.P. Excise Act is pending since October, 2024. She has requested to decide the present writ petition directing the respondent no.1 to decide the said revision as expeditiously as possible. 4. Mr. Ganesh Kandpal, Advocate, has requested eight weeks’ time to decide the said revision. 5. With the consent of both the parties, the present Writ Petition (WPMS No. 151 of 2025) is disposed of directing the respondent no.1 to decide the said revision by a reasoned order and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, but not later than eight weeks from the date of production of the certified copy of this order. 6.
