By this common order, CWP No. 33742 of 2025 and CWP No. 33745 of 2025 are hereby adjudicated as common questions of law and facts are involved. PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2025.11.21 04:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CWP No. 33742 of 2025 and connected case -2- 2. The petitioner through instant petition is seeking setting aside of communication dated 20.05.2024 (Annexure P-4) whereby respondent has rejected his claim for re-enrolment. 3. The petitioner claims that he is 31 years old man and is physically fit. He has worked with Haryana Home Guards from 2015 to 2019. He was called off without any reason. There are many volunteers who are regularly engaged whereas he was engaged for part of the year. The work performed by him is perennial in nature and respondent may engage him. 4. Learned State counsel submits that petitioner was a volunteer and he himself was absent from duty, thus, was not subsequently engaged. The respondent may consider him as and when there is re-enrolment subject to his physical fitness. 5. From the perusal of impugned communication, it comes out that petitioner has not worked with respondent after 2019 and even during General Elections, he was not available. 6. In the wake of statement of both sides, the instant petitions are disposed of with a direction to respondent to consider petitioners as and when similarly situated volunteers are re-enrolled.
