Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers: " (1) Issue a writ, order, direction or command in the nature of mandamus to direct the opposite party no. 1 for expeditious disposal of the appeal bearing case no.272/2025, Computerised case no. C202508000000272 as Neelam singh versus State and others pending before the opposite party no. 1 pending since 13.02.2025, preferably within a period of 60 days, in the interest of justice and the copy of order sheet is annexed as Annexure no. 1 with the petition. (ii) Issue a writ, order, direction or command in the nature of mandamus to direct the opposite party no. 1 for expeditious disposal of interim relief application in the appeal bearing case no.272/2025, Computerised case no.C202508000000272 as Neelamsingh versus State and others pending before the opposite party no. 1 pending since 13.02.2025, preferably within a period of 15 days, in the interest of justice and the copy of memo of appeal is annexed as Annexure No. 2 with the petition." 3. Considering the aforesaid fact, the present petition is disposed of directing the opposite party no. 1 to decide the interim application filed by the petitioner within a period of three weeks. The opposite party no. 1 shall also endeavour to decide the appeal itself expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within a period of three months.
