Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:12060 Court No. - 8 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 1922 of 2025 Petitioner :- Dropadi And Others Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy., Deptt. Of Revenue, Lko. And Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Alok Mishra Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Jaspreet Singh,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 to 6 has been accepted by the office of Chief Standing counsel. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he had instituted an application under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 read with Rule 22 of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules, 2016, however, the same has not been registered. Learned Standing counsel submits that the case has been registered. This fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners who submits that the proceedings may be expedited. Considering the fact that the case is already being registered, needless to say that the authorities will consider the time frame mentioned in Section 24(3) of the Code, 2006 and take the proceedings to its logical conclusion. Accordingly, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition with expedition that the time frame as mentioned in Section 24 (3) of the Code, 2006 shall be considered. With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of.
