Public Prosecutor for the State respondent and Mr. S. Borthakur, learned counsel for respondent no.2. 2. This I.A. has been preferred seeking suspension of sentence and releasing the accused on bail who has been convicted and sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for 7(seven) years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/- for the offence under Section 326 IPC; R.I for 7 years and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/- for the offence under Section 307 IPC; and SI for 2 months for committing offence under Section 341 of IPC. 3. The applicant has already preferred a criminal revision petition, being Crl. Rev. Pet.180/2025 against the impugned judgment and order dated 30.03.2024, passed by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu in Sessions Case No.01/2008 and impugned judgment and order dated 02.04.2024, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu in F.C, Criminal Appeal No.06/2024. 4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the sentence imposed upon the petitioner vide the impugned judgment and order dated 30.03.2024, passed by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu in Sessions Page No.# 3/3 Case No.01/2008 and impugned judgment and order dated 02.04.2024, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu in F.C, Criminal Appeal No.06/2024 is suspended till disposal of the connected criminal revision petition being Crl. Rev. Pet.180/2025. 5. The petitioner, namely, Sanjay Sahu is allowed to go on bail of Rs. 50,000/- with 2 sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu. 6.
