Dkhar, learned counsel has submitted that the applicant has filed an appeal before this Court being aggrieved by the judgment dated 20.03.2025 and the related sentence dated 21.03.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge (POCSO), West Jaintia Hills District in Special POCSO Case No. 27 of 2021. However, there is a delay of 114 days in preferring the said appeal. This application has been filed seeking condonation of the same on the ground that the appellant is facing financial difficulty etc. and could not prefer the appeal within time. It is prayed that the delay of 114 days be condoned and the appeal be brought on board. Mr. S. Sengupta, learned Addl. P.P has no objection to the application for condonation of the delay. We have considered the submissions of the parties and have perused the application in question. We are convinced that sufficient cause has been made out for the delay to be condoned in preferring the related appeal. Accordingly, the delay of 114 days in preferring the appeal is hereby condoned.
