This Application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1306 of 2024, “State vs. Ajay Kashyap and Others”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haldwani, District Nainital under Sections 323, 498A and Section 504 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2. Ms. Sheetal Selwal, learned counsel for the applicants-accused. 3. Ms. Sweta Badola Dobhal, learned Brief Holder for the respondent no.1. 1 2025:UHC:9292 4. Mr. Sunny Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent no.2-informant. 5. The applicant no.1 is the husband of the respondent no.2. Applicant no.2 is the mother and the applicant no.3 is the father of the applicant no.1. 6. All the applicants are present in-person. They are identified by Ms. Sheetal Selwal, Advocate. 7. The respondent no.2 - informant is present in- person. She is identified by Mr. Sunny Kumar, Advocate. 8. The applicants and the respondent no.2 submitted that there were matrimonial disputes between them. They have sort out their disputes. They have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. The respondent no.2 is requesting to quash the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1306 of 2024. 9. The said request has not been opposed by the respondent no.1. 10. In the facts and circumstances of the case, ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.1306 of 2024, “State vs. Ajay Kashyap and Others”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Haldwani, 2 2025:UHC:9292 District Nainital, are quashed. 11.
