Petitioner has approached this Court for the following relief:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent nos.2 and 3 to provide adequate security from respondent no.4 to the life and liberty of the petitioner. 2. Learned Deputy Advocate General for the State would submit that the petitioner is seeking protection from the Gram Sabha and not from any 1 2025:UHC:9350-DB specific individual. He would further submit that there is a civil dispute pending between the parties. 3. Since there is a civil dispute pending between the parties, the proper remedy for the petitioner would be to approach the civil court.
