The petitioner is a senior citizen and has moved an application before the District Magistrate, Pratapgarh and Superintendent of Police, Pratapgarh that the police personnel are harassing him at the behest of his daughter-in-law, who is also in the police department and has strained relations with petitioner's son, her husband. Let the opposite party No.1 and 2 verify the facts and do the needful as may be required as per law so that the petitioner is not unnecessarily harassed by any police personnel keeping in mind the provisions and intent of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and rules made thereunder and expeditious action be taken in this regard after verification of facts but of course after hearing the opposite party No.4, if it is so required. 3.
