GP FOR SERVICES I The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief/s:- “…to issue a writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus to declaring the action of the respondents in not providing employment to the petitioner under compassionate grounds in place of her deceased father D.Mallikarjuna as bad, illegal, arbitrary, abuse of power, violative of principles of natural justice and violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith grant appointment to the petitioner in the place of her deceased father on compassionate grounds as per her eligibility and pass such other order or orders.…” 2. The petitioner’s father died in harness on 22.05.2024 leaving behind the wife, son and two daughters, the petitioner being one of the daughters. The petitioner has passed B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad and is stated to be qualified and eligible to hold any post in the respondents Department. The petitioner has also acceptance of other family members for considering compassionate appointment as she is physically disabled and her disability being assessed as 71%, the petitioner made representation dated 30.12.2024 and also 10.03.2025 to respondent No.3 for considering her for compassionate appointment and the same is pending consideration. The petitioner has also submitted the financial status certificate and other documents in this regard. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner though is married but dependent on deceased father and her father was sole bread earner for entire family and this Court in various judgments has held that sons and daughters, even after marriage, if are part of their family, they are entitled to be considered for compassionate appointment. Since, petitioner’s representation is pending, she would urge to direct the respondents to dispose the same. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that the application made by the petitioner to respondent No.3 will be considered and be disposed in accordance with law. 5. In view of the aforesaid submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, it would suffice to dispose the writ petition directing respondent No.3 to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 30.12.2024 and also 10.03.2025 for considering her for compassionate appointment and pass appropriate orders within six (06) weeks strictly in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
