Following order was passed in this matter on 30.05.2025:-
“Notice. Mr. Y.P.S. Dhaulta, Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
Petitioner’s grievance is that despite order having been passed in his favour on 23.05.2022 by the Controlling Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 (Labour Officer), Bilaspur Zone, for paying him the gratuity of Rs.2,43,975/- alongwith simple interest @ 9% w.e.f. 30.04.2015 and despite Recovery Certificate dated 09.07.2024, having been issued by the said Authority under Section 8 of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 (Act in short) the said amount alongwith interest has not been released in his favour.

Let learned Additional Advocate General to have instruction in the matter and also to ensure that due and admissible gratuity to the petitioner as per order passed by the Controlling Authority under the Payment Gratuity Act, 1972 (Labour Officer) Bilaspur Zone is paid to the petitioner.

Pursuant to the above order, learned Deputy Advocate General has placed on record office instructions dated 09.07.2025 from the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Ghumarwin, District Bilaspur, stating therein that the entire amount due to the petitioner along with interest has been released in his favour. Office instructions are also accompanied by the supporting documents.
In view of above, the present writ petition to stand disposed of as the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of.
