JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE (ORDER) 29.09.2025 Upon coming up the instant petition for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she would not press it in case the court of Sub Judge, Chadoora, wherein the impugned challan is pending is directed to make an endeavour to conduct speedy trial of the case owing to the fact of the petitioner herein being a Senior Citizen and also the trial court shall consider his application seeking exemption from personal appearance favourably in view of the old age of the petitioner. Having regard to the aforesaid submission of the counsel for the petitioner, inasmuch as the record available on the file, the instant petition is disposed of by providing that the trial court shall make an endeavour to conduct the trial of the case, as expeditiously as possible, and also accord due and effective consideration to the exemption from personal appearance in case is sought by the petitioner, unless appearance of the petitioner before the trial court is absolutely necessary.
