Learned counsel for petitioner submits that father of petitioner late Rajendra Sao was working as driver under the respondents, who died in harness on 08.09.2006. It is contended that after attaining the age of majority, petitioner immediately moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment before the respondent No.2 on 15.10.2018 along with all requisite documents, but even after lapse of more than six years, the application submitted by petitioner has not BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Digitally signed by BALRAM PRASAD DEWANGAN Date: 2025.01.31 14:14:31 +0530 2 been considered and decided and claim of petitioner is still pending consideration. He submits that at this stage, a direction be issued to the respondents authorities to consider and decide the claim of petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment within specified time frame. 2. Learned State counsel submits that in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner for taking decision on the pending application for grant of compassionate appointment, she is having no objection. She submits that, if the, application submitted by petitioner is still pending consideration, it will be considered in accordance with law. 3. I have heard learned counsel for parties and also perused the documents placed on record. 4. Taking into consideration the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties and also considering the documents placed on record, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the respondents No.2 to consider and decide the representation (Annexure P-2)/claim of petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment in accordance with law within further period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. 5.
