The Court made the following order:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief/s:-
“…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents 5 and 6 in not allowing the petitioner to work as Village Organization Assistant in Yarraguntla Village Women Mutually Aided Cooperative Thrift Society Ltd., Yarraguntla Village, Dhone Mandal, Nandyal District, though her tenure is in vogue, without issuing any notice, order or communication, as arbitrary, illegal, in violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the Respondents 5 and 6 to allow the Petitioner to work as Village Organization Assistant in Yarraguntia Village Women Mutually Aided Cooperative Thrift Society Ltd., Yarraguntla Village, Dhone Mandal, Nandyal District, till the petitioner complete her tenure as per the resolution and to pass such other order or orders.…”

Heard Sri Subba Rao Korrapati, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I for respondent No.1 and Sri Hari Babu, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 to 6. 3. The petitioner has been appointed as Village Organization Assistant in self help group i.e., 7th respondent. Her grievance is that though she was appointed by resolution dated 24.12.2022, for a period of three years, which would expired on 24.12.2025, she is not being allowed to attend to the duties. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I for respondent No.1 and learned Standing Counsel for respondent 2 to

6 on instructions submits that resolution passed by 7th respondent on 12.02.2025, by which majority of the members have resolved to remove the petitioner as Village Organization Assistant and another person came to be appointed to discharge functions. Since this decision is taken by 7th respondent upon conducting the General Body Meeting, the respondent Nos.2 to 6 have nothing to do with either appointment or removal of petitioner. 5.
In view of aforesaid submissions, cause in the writ petition does not survive. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is granted liberty to workout remedies as available under law. There shall be no order as to costs.
