The petitioners have filed this petition seeking the following relief(s):- “10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to make final payment of amount of provident fund deducted from salaries of the petitioners. 10.2 This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to pay interest on delayed payment of provident fund. 10.3 Any other relief or relief(s) which this Hon’ble Court may think proper in view of the facts and circumstances of the case may also kindly be granted.” 2. Mr. Sunil Pillai, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 5 would submit that the Senior Welfare Officer cum Chief Chemist (CSC) DSPM TPS, CSPGCL, Korba East has agreed to deposit the amount to the tune of Rs.84,558/- in the EPF Account. He would contend that respondents No. 3 and 4 may deposit the amount via Electronic Challan cum Returns for the employees in any of the active PF Codes of CSPGCL. Mr. Sunil Pillai would also submit that as respondents No. 4 and 5 have agreed and are ready to deposit the outstanding amount, this petition may be disposed of. 3. Mr. Ajay Thakre, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that with regard to interest, the petitioners may be permitted to make a representation before respondent No. 5. 4. Mr. Sunil Pillai would submit that the final amount shall be paid to the employees in accordance with the law. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 3 6. Taking into consideration the submissions made by the parties, this petition is disposed of pursuant to the letter dated 23.01.2025 (Annexure A/3) issued by the Senior Welfare Officer-Cum-Chief Chemist (CSC) DSPM TPS, CSPGCL, Korba East, whereby the authority has agreed to make payment of dues of Rs.84,558/-. 7.
