As per Lawazima Court order dated 17.02.2024 reflects that the postal track consignment report confirms delivery of the notice to the sole respondent; therefore, the notice is deemed to have been duly served. None represents the opposite party/writ petitioner. The review is sought for in respect of the order dated 12.12.2022 passed in WP(C) No. 7578/2022, whereby the petitioner was permitted to apply for a review medical examination and thereupon the authorities will give due consideration and the said process was directed to be completed within the period of three months. Page No.# 3/4 The learned counsel for the review petitioner submits that this writ petition was disposed of at the motion stage without issuance of notice and it was only after the disposal of the writ petition that it came to light from the records of the case that the petitioner has already availed of the review medical examination. The report of the review medical examination is enclosed in Annexure 2 of the review petition. Under such circumstances, this review petition has been filed seeking a review of the order dated 12.12.2022 passed in WP(C) No. 7578/2022. The respondent has not appeared in the matter when the matter was called up on 23.10.2024, 05.03.2025 and 19.03.2025. None represents the respondent today also when the matter was called up. In terms of the limited prayer made, this Court is of the view that since the notice has been duly served to the respondent and none had represented the respondent in spite of opportunities being granted, this matter can be closed by modifying the earlier directions to the extent that the respondents will carry out the process for review medical examination report, if the said process had otherwise not been availed of by the writ petitioner earlier. With the above observation, the review petition stands closed. The order passed today shall be read together with the order dated 12.12.2022 passed in the WP(C) No.7578/2022.
