Menus Adventures Private Limited and Ors.” pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, and on the very first date of hearing i.e. 10.09.2025, after hearing the counsel for the petitioner partly, the matter was ordered to be listed on 15.09.2025 at the request of counsel for the petitioner. However, on the said date none appeared on behalf of the petitioner and matter was ordered to be listed on 22.09.2025 in the interest of justice, on which date as well the arguing counsel for the petitioner did not appear and instead an adjournment was sought by the proxy counsel for the petitioner which was granted subject to the payment of costs of Rs.1000/-. Today as well, none appears on behalf of the petitioner so much so, there is no report made by the Registry regarding the depositing of aforesaid costs. In view of the aforesaid position obtaining in the matter, seemingly the petitioner has lost interest in prosecuting the case, which accordingly, is dismissed for non-prosecution as well as non-depositing of costs of Rs.1000/- imposed upon the petitioner in terms of order dated 22.09.2025.
