The final order was passed on 14.03.2022 directing payment of maintenance of Rs.10,000/- to the wife from 22.09.2021. Challenging the said order, the husband has filed Crl.A.S.R.No.5214 of 2024 before the District and Sessions Court, Tiruchirappalli with a delay of 673 days. The husband has filed Crl.M.P.No.3491 of 2024 to condone the said delay. The learned District Judge has passed an order on 28.01.2025 condoning the delay on condition to pay a part of the maintenance amount namely Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) on or before 28.02.2025, however, the conditional order was not complied with by the husband. Challenging the same, the revision petitioner has filed the above Civil Revision Petition. 2. While entertaining the said revision petition, this Court has granted an interim order on condition to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) to the wife on or before 24.03.2025. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.R..P.(PD)(MD).No.646 of 2025 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is reported that the revision petitioner has not complied with the said order and the said amount has not been paid to the wife. The first respondent/wife has appeared party-in- person before this Court. 4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has not complied with the order of the criminal appellate Court as well as the interim order passed by this Court, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Civil Revision Petition. 5. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
