Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. 2. The petitioner has been apparently fringing ignorance and persisting with a prayer for consideration of her representation/ application for effecting mutation, presumably in the light of section 149 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code pursuant to the sale deed got executed by her. 3. It is not being explained as to how she was served with the notice showing her name as an applicant and mentioning the names of original owners as respondents in the notice received by her, annexed to the petition at Exh.C , dated 13 October 2024. 4. Considering the mechanism provided for in the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code for effecting mutation on the basis of acquisition of 2025:BHC-AUG:8370-DB 926wp3675-25 an agricultural land in the light of provisions of section 149 onwards, if some objection is received by Talathi, he makes an entry in the concerned register and thereafter, it is to be decided by an officer not below the rank of Awwal Karkun. We have a reason to believe that the petitioner had received the notice Exh.C pursuant to the state of affairs as we have discussed herein above.
