Perused the reasons given in the order of the S.D.M. dated 07.11.2024 for not approving the proposal of Gaon Sabha for grant of leases. The said proposal did not bear the signature of the Secretary of Land Management Committee who is the Lekhpal nor was prior information of the meeting given to the concerned officials. We, therefore, do not find any error. However, opposite parties are directed to convene a fresh meeting as per law and send proposal for grant of lease if it is so required to the S.D.M. concerned at the earliest. 3.
