Petitioner has filed the present petition claiming the following reliefs: “10.1 Kindly please call all relevant records. 10.2 Kindly direct Respondent no.5 & 6 to make payment within time time limit after verification of petitioner’s calculation (Annexure P6) and correct fairly as per rules if required. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that vide Memo dated 16.04.2025 (Annexure P7), respondent-5 has considered after re-examination the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is entitled for pay scale of Rs.5675/- in place of Rs.5500/- as per the revision of Pay Rules, 1998, from the the date of his promotion on 26.06.1996. Pursuant to the said memo, petitioner has already made his representation before the respondent authorities on 20.05.2025 (Annexure P8) for re-calculation of his pension, as well as arrears of pension but the authorities have not decided his representation till date, and the petitioner is facing financial difficulty at the fag end of his life. Hence, the authorities may consider his representation (Annexure P8), and take a decision on it, as early as possible. 3. On the other hand, learned State counsel would submit that though the recommendation has been made by respondent-5, but the representation is still pending before the authorities, and they may be directed to take decision on the representation (Annexure P8) dated 20.05.2025 in accordance with law, within the stipulated time frame, as the matter pertains to revised pension and its arrears. 4. Learned counsel for respondent-7 would submit that it is for the State authorities to consider revision of the petitioner, and respondent-7 is the only disbursing authority of pension. 5. Heard learned counsel for the parties, and perused the documents annexed with the petition. 6. Considering the submissions of learned counsel for the parties, further considering the issue involved in the present writ petition, and also in view of the Wps 1847 of 2025 3 Memo dated 16.04.2025, and the representation dated 20.05.2025, respondent-4 is directed to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, keeping in view of the above mentioned Memo and representation, service record of the petitioner, and other relevant applicable Circulars/Rules governing the field, in accordance with law on its own merits. 7. The petitioner is directed to produce a copy of this order to the respondent-4 within two weeks from today. 8. With aforesaid observation, present writ petition stands disposed of.
