This appeal under Section 21 of the NIA Act is against the order dated 23.10.2024 passed by the Court of Special Judge designated as NIA Court, whereby the application of the petitioner for grant of bail was rejected.
Learned counsel appearing for the appellant submits that the appellant has been acquitted in case FIR No. 301/2021, registered in Police Station Shopian, for the commission of offences under Sections 18, 19, 23 and 39 UA(P) Act, and the accused, as such, was directed to be released. Docket of the same is placed on record. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the counsel for the appellant, this petition has become infructuous and accordingly stands dismissed.
