Petitioner contends that no criminal trial is pending against him. An F.I.R. has been lodged by the ex-wife arising out of matrimonial discord but the parties have arrived at a settlement before the Family Court at Pune in Petition F No.55/2017 [Ms. Mehek Mohindra vs. Prateek Bhatnagar] copy of which is on record. Therefore, there is absolutely no impediment in issuance of passport to the petitioner. 3. Let the petitioner respond to the show cause notices copy of which have been produced before us by Sri Varun Pandey, learned counsel appearing for the opposite parties and they are dated 25.04.2017, 22.09.2017 and 13.10.2017 which are taken on record. Petitioner's counsel feigns ignorance, however, he informed that settlement has been arrived subsequently on 20.08.2019. Be that as it may, let the petitioner move an application before opposite party no.2 bringing all the facts to his knowledge who may get the same verified and take a decision on the application of the petitioner.
