Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. The instant petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of revision pending before the Board of Revenue since 16.08.2024. A specific query was put to learned counsel for the petitioner as to whether he has moved an application before the Board of Revenue for seeking expeditious disposal, to which he answered in negative. Since the matter is pending since August, 2024, this Court is not inclined to entertain the petition leaving it open for the petitioner to move an appropriate application before the court concerned. In case, if such an application is moved before the Board of Revenue the same shall be considered and decided by passing an appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law.
