Learned Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that during the pendency of the instant petition, the Respondents have issued Government Order No. 152-JK (HUD) of 2025 dated 17-10-2025, whereby, inter alia, the petitioner has been granted notional promotion to the post of Executive Officer in the Level-8 (47,600 – 1,51,100) with effect from 16-05-2013 to 30-11-2021, the date on which he has attained the age of superannuation. A copy of the said Government Order has been produced and the same has been taken on record. 02. Through the medium of the present petition, the petitioner has challenged Notification dated 11-01-2022, whereby he has been retired from service with effect from 30-11-2021, on the post of Sanitary Inspector. In view of the latest development, whereby the petitioner has been granted notional promotion to the post of Executive Officer, the impugned Notification dated 11th of January, 2022, is required to be modified by bringing it in tune with the Government Order dated 17th of October, 2025 (supra). 03. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to issue a modified notification relating to the retirement of the petitioner, incorporating the subsequent developments that have taken place pursuant to Government Order No. 152-JK (HUD) of 2025 dated 17th of October, 2025.
