Sudeepthi Potluri, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology for the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the revision petition filed by the petitioner has not been disposed of by the respondents. 2 3. It is contended that basing on an inspection conducted by the technical staff of the respondent department, a show cause notice dated 16-8-2022 was issued requiring the petitioner to explain the deficit in stock. The petitioner has submitted his explanation stating that the difference is on account of taking into consideration the scrap material lying in the shed. Without considering the explanation of the petitioner, the impugned proceedings by the 2nd respondent have been passed levying Rs. 21,95,773/- as penalty. Against the order, levying penalty, the petitioner has filed revision petition same has not yet been disposed of. 4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that this Court earlier in similar circumstances has disposed of the writ petition directing the respondents to dispose of the Revision petition in a time bound manner, and requested the Court to pass the similar order in this writ petition also. 5. The said position is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Mines and Geology. 6. In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to dispose of the Revision petition filed by the petitioner within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of this order, after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner. 3 7. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
