None appears for the petitioner. 2. By filing this public interest litigation the petitioner alleges that the private respondent after purchasing 41.5 decimals of shali land has changed the character and altered the nature and classification of the said land. Assistant Director & Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Budge Budge-II, South 24 Parganas has filed a report dated 7th March, 2025 along with annexures. On perusal of the report it is seen that the land in question is a rayati land and the classification is sali and no conversion has been done in the subject land till date. 3. Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent has produced photographs which prima facie show that the land is a low land and the said land is waterlogged, which is stated to be used for 2 agricultural and other purpose. It is not clear as to on what basis the petitioner filed this writ petition. In any event, the authority after having conducted an inspection submitted a report and the Court does not find any ground to doubt the veracity of the report. Therefore, the report is placed on record and the private respondent shall not alter the classification of the land nor convert the subject land for any other purpose and no construction shall also be made on the subject property. 4.
