The Hon’bte High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Represented by its the Registrar (Recruitment), Nelapadu, Amaravati- 522239. ...RESPONDENTS 0^ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or a direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondent No. 1 in incorporating clause i (a) (Qualifications) under notification No. 40/2025, dated 12.03.2025 thereby debarring the petitioners and other persons working as a Judicial Officers below the rank of District Judge to appear for the examinations to the District Judge (Entry Level) under Direct Recruitment for the year 2025, though having required practice of minimum 7 years as an Advocate, substantial experience as a Judicial Officer is illegal, irregular, arbitrary, ultra virus and vioiation of the provisions of settled principles of law and Andhra Pradesh State Judicial (Service and Cadre) Rules, 2007 and also offends Articles 14 and 19(1) (g) of Constitution of India and consequently struck down the clause 1(a) (qualifications) of the notification Nd.40/2025, dated 12.03.2025 issued by the respondent Nos 1 and 2 and allow them to appear for the selection process of District Judges (Entry Level) under direct recruitment quota pursuant to the notification No.40/2025, dated 12.03.2025. lA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC is filed praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 to allow them to appear, participate for the selection process of District Judges (Entry Level) under direct recruitment quota to the notification No.40/2025, dated 12.03.2025, pending disposal of the main writ petition.
