The mandate of learned Arbitrator ended on 19.09.2024. Hence, this application has been moved under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time to complete the arbitral proceedings. 2. Learned counsel on both sides have apprised that the parties have led their evidence before the learned Arbitrator. The matter is now at the stage of arguments. 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 The respondents have no objection for extending the mandate of learned Arbitrator for completing the arbitral proceedings in question. 3. Taking into consideration the pleadings and the submissions made by learned counsel on both sides, this petition is allowed. Time for completion of arbitral proceedings in question is extended by two months from today.
