By the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the respondents to consider her case for issuance fresh/Duplicate Passport in her favour without any further delay as per the record of matriculation certificate issued by the Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education which indicates the name of the petitioner as Faiza Latief Wani, mother’s name as Mehbooba Latief Wani and Date of Birth as 25th May, 2001. 02. Learned counsel for the respondents has produced copy of communication dated 25th May,2026, issued by the Passport Officer, Srinagar, wherein it is stated that as and when the applicant/petitioner applies for re-issuance of passport, the same shall be accordingly examined as per law for further necessary action at his end. 03. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner had applied for re-issuance of passport on 17th January,2025 at 10:30 A.M. He has also annexed the copy of the appointment receipt along with the instant petition. 04. Be that as it may, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the application of the petitioner for re-issuance of passport strictly on the basis of the matriculation certificate, date of birth as 25th May,2001 within a period of one month from the date a copy of this order is made available to them. 05.
