2025:UHC:9282 SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS CLCON/545/2025 Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J 1. Mr. Hem Chandra Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. This contempt petition is filed alleging disobedience of order dated 11.04.2017 passed in WPSS No. 997 of 2015. By the said order, respondents were directed to consider the case of petitioner for regularisation and also for grant of minimum pay scale along with grade pay. 3. It is not in dispute that petitioner’s services were regularised on a Group ‘D’ post in Forest Department in the year 2021 and upon regular appointment, he is getting regular pay scale. 4. In the order, sought to be enforced, it is nowhere provided that petitioner would be entitled to arrears of minimum of pay scale. 5. Since petitioner is now getting regular pay scale, therefore, this Court does not find any reason to initiate proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act against the opposite party. This is not a case of wilful disobedience of the order. If petitioner has any grievance left in the matter then he can approach the writ court again. 6. Accordingly, the contempt petition is dismissed. However, petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate forum.
