This application has been filed under section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Page No.# 2/2 Suraksha Sanhita (B.N.S.S), 2023, whereby the petitioner, Meher Ali, has prayed for releasing him on regular bail after he was arrested in connection with Chaygaon P.S. Case No. 122/2025. 3. 17.2 grams of narcotic drugs was recovered from the possession of the present petitioner. Mr. Sharma, has submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender because there are other similar cases also against the present petitioner. 4. The petitioner has already completed 50 days of judicial custody. Considering the amount of narcotic drugs recovered from the present petitioner and also considering the fact that he has already completed 50 days of detention in custody, this bail application is allowed. 5. The petitioner Meher Ali who was arrested in connection with Chaygaon P.S. Case No. 122/2025 shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup, Amingaon. 6.
