ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. K. Samidurai, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. P. Thilak Kumar, Government Pleader for the respondent(s), this Court made the following order: This matter is listed today under the caption “for reporting compliance”. 2. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the grievance of the petitioner are redressed. The Director of School Education Department filed status report, stating that the Committees are re- constituted. In this regard, paragraph No.12 of the status report is relevant, which is extracted herunder:- “12. It is respectfully submitted that in the 38 districts all 37,094 Government schools have reconstituted students safeguarding advisory committee. No.5011 of 2025 schools conducted a total of 1,27,054 SSAC meetings and during 2024-2025 a total of 1,26,945 SSAC meetings were conducted. Moreover, annual orientation training on POCSO Act awarness to teacher and other staffs in 37,094 Government schools has been conducted for the year 2023-2024 in wshich 1,95,791 teachers and 1,33,243 in 37,094 Government schools a total of 2,00,709 teachers and 1,37,928 other staffs were given orientation training on POCSO Act awareness.” 3.
