The present petition has been filed with the following relief: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties specially the opposite party No.2 to transfer the (one) S.B.B.L. 12 Bore Gun No.691 in favour of the petitioner and issue the arm license in his favour forthwith, in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 4.11.2024 contained in Annexure No.7 to this writ petition by a speaking and reasoned order within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner." 3. Considering the reliefs as prayed for, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to decide the application of the petitioner for transfer of the licence with all expedition, preferably within a period of four months from the date of filing of a certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
