Proceedings under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 are going on at the behest of the Gram Sabha. Inspite of repeated request, the counsel for the petitioner could not point out any application submitted by him to the Tehsildar concerned for such proceedings under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006. The apprehension of the petitioner is that the Gram Sabha's counsel is not pursuing the matter appropriately and his request to the Tehsildar concerned for being allowed to be represented by a private counsel has not been accepted. However, we do not find any order in writing in this regard. The petitioner may move an application before the Tehsildar concerned raising his grievance, which may be considered and decided in accordance with law. Learned Standing Counsel shall communicate our order to the Tehsildar concerned to take into consideration and decide the petitioner's application keeping in mind the communication of the Additional District Magistrate (F/R), Pratapgarh dated 29.07.2024 addressed to the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Kunda, Pratapgarh.
