Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers :- "(i). Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the opposite party no. 2 to issue the Arms License in favour of the petitioner. (ii) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus to the opposite party no. 2 to decide the application for the Arms License of the petitioner application no. 2926/2024 within a stipulated period." 3. Considering the aforesaid prayer, it is directed that the trial court shall endeavour to decide the aforesaid pending application for grant of arms license with all expedition, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order. 4.
