The petitioners have prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay compensation to them in respect of gata no. 1418, 1421, 1422, 1430, 1431, 1432, 1434 situated at village-Rithaura, Tehsil-Sadar, District Bareilly. 2. As per instructions submitted by N.H.A.I., award for the acquired land was made on 10.11.2023. 3. The District Magistrate, Bareilly has also submitted a written instruction according to which the subject land was purchased by the petitioners from the tenure holders who were members of scheduled caste without obtaining prior permission. 4. In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we are of the opinion that the interest of justice would be served in permitting the petitioners to file their claim before the competent authority so that it is decided in accordance with law. 5.
