Learned counsel appearing for the parties, state that the State of Manipur has filed writ appeals, being W.A. No.(s) 9, 10 and 11 of 2024 and interim stay has been granted in the aforesaid appeals. As against the interim order, an SLP has also been preferred before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the same is pending. In such circumstances, since the contempt petition is pending for a long time and the issues are now pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the present contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to move a fresh contempt petition, if necessary, at later stage.
