2025:JHHC:17727 1 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI A.B.A. No.3512 of 2025 ------ Md. Sabir Ansari, S/o Late Md. Subhan. … … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand. … … Opposite Party ------ CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Ms. Omiya Anusha, Adv. For the State : Mr. Manoj Kr. Mishra, A.P.P. ----- 05/ 03.07.2025 Heard the parties. 2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest in connection with Lesliganj P.S. Case No.106 of 2023, for offences under Sections 408 and 420 IPC. The case is presently pending before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Lesliganj. 3. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 4. There is an allegation that the petitioner and another being the officers and employees of Micro Finance Institution, have misappropriated the huge amount of the beneficiaries. It is alleged that the loan was sanctioned in favour of the beneficiaries but since the beneficiaries did not want to continue with the loan, they returned the amount but this petitioner and another thereafter misappropriated the entire amount. 5. Considering the nature of allegation, as there is direct overt act alleged against the petitioner that he along with another has misappropriated the entire amount and cheated the beneficiaries, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail. 6. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Prashant. Cp-3
