The Court made the following: :: ORDER :: The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondent authorities in not prioritising the minor/small parties in the confidence in electoral meetings, sharing information with the parties and solving their grievance, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard Sri Shaik Hussain, the party in person and Ms. Abhikya, learned counsel representing Sri D.S. Siva Darshan, learned Standing Counsel appeared for respondents 1 & 2. 3. The petitioner would contend that he is the President of the Reforms Party of India, registered by the Election Commission of India. He also would submit that several representations were made to the Election Commission of India, pointing out the discrepancies in the political system. However, those representations were not considered. 4. Ms. Abhikya, learned counsel representing Sri D. Satya Siva Darshan, learned Standing Counsel, submitted the instructions of Under Secretary vide SRS,J W.P.No.8618 of 2025 No.509/62/ECI/LET/FUNC/JUD/RCC/2025, dated 25.03.2025. The relevant portion of the instructions is extracted herewith: “In this regard, you are requested to submit before the Hon’ble Court that the petition will be treated as a representation and the same will be decided by an Appropriate Officer and will be disposed of by a speaking order….” 5. Given the instructions of respondent No.1, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of party in person and learned counsel appearing for the respondents, directing the respondent No.1 to consider the affidavit as representation of the petitioner and consider the same, strictly as per the Rules, if necessary by affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. No order as to costs.
