[2] By the present petitioner, the petitioners submitted a joint representation dated 05.05.2025 to 1) the Principal Secretary/ Commissioner/ Secretary (Home), Govt. of Manipur, 2) the Director of Relief & Rehabilitation, Manipur, 3) the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West, Manipur & 4) The Superintendent of Police, Imphal West, Manipur for reminder for releasing a sum of Rs. 6,97,700/- (Rupees six lakh ninety seven thousand seven hundred) only as compensation for the two vehicles bearing Reg. No. MN-04A-4417 (Bolero) and MN-07D-2430 (Bolero) burnt on 19-12-2016 into ashes by unknown persons/ miscreants during the Counter Economic Blockade at Sekmai Nongthombam along NH-2 at 4:15 pm. [3] During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the respondents to consider and pass an speaking order to the representation submitted by the petitioners.
