2. Petitioners apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A/323/504/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that both parties have resolved and settled their dispute in terms of settlement mutually agreed upon by them. A copy of the settlement dated 7.8.2025 is annexed with the mediator’s report dated 8.8.2025. Petitioner no.1 is husband of opposite party no.2, whereas petitioner no.2 is mother-in-law of opposite party no.2.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7381 of 2025(4) dt.18-08-2025 2/2 controvert the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners.
5. Considering the mediator’s report, prayer for bail of the petitioners is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender within six weeks from today, let both the petitioners, mentioned above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Sherghatti, Gaya in Gurua Police Station Case No. 531 of 2023, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as in terms of settlement.
