By this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following main reliefs:- "(i). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned office memorandum dated 07.07.2003 issued by the State Government as contained in Annexure 1 to the writ petition." (ii). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties from affecting any recovery from the salary of the petitioner.." The matter pertains to the year 2004. It appears that by efflux of time, the petitioner has lost interest in the matter to pursue the case as such the petition has rendered infructuous.
